Liam runs several distribution businesses in the UK, including hydroponics, agriculture, and a healthcare business with a special focus on quality CBD products.
Graduating from the University of Wales, Bangor in Marine Science in 2002, he spent 6 years rising to management level in UKAS accredited materials testing and development laboratories for Cemex and Bureau Veritas, during which considerable experience was gained in European testing standards and quality management systems.
Liam then moved to the hydroponics industry, excelling in technical sales and product development, and developing knowledge and expertise in animal nutrition. He is the Director of Elite Healthcare Distribution, which aims to supply quality, innovative products to the healthcare sector, with a particular focus on cannabinoid medicines. Having experienced the explosion of the UK CBD market, and attempting to develop a range of high quality products, Liam identified the need for industry regulation and instigated the formation of ECTA. The aim of ECTA is to raise the profile of cannabinoid therapies within the medical sector, to channel the expertise from across the continent into programmes that can engage with and help educate the healthcare market, as well as drive research and innovation in the cannabinoid therapy field.
